What is NDT and it’s benefits for you?

Non-destructive testing is a term used to describe the process of testing an element without causing any damage. This testing can be done on a range of materials, including concrete, steel and timber. In this article, we will explain what you can use non-destructive testing on. Concrete non-destructive testing (NDT)

Non-destructive testing is a descriptive term used for the examination of materials and components in such a way that allows materials to be examined without changing or destroying their usefulness. NDT can be used to determine the size and location of surface and subsurface defects.

NDT does away with costly elements that may require replacement or repair after a destructive testing process is used.

Non-Destructive Testing techniques can then be used to monitor the integrity of the structure throughout its design life and give comprehensive data on its properties.
